Social Media is lit up with posts about the Full Moon in Aries today with messages of intensity, focus, and potential for healing with Chiron nearby. I saw a few folks mention that Venus is near the Sun in Libra opposing this hot-headed Moon. Although many didn't even mention Venus in their Full Moon report!

Venus has traveled to the other side of the Sun and is approaching her union with Source while in the strength of her home sign of Libra. It's a huge deal and I'm hosting a virtual cosmic celebration on October 22nd, so save the date!

Reading through these posts reminded me again how I want to expand the conversation about the astrology of the "feminine" and how to move with cycles. I want more of us to be Venus cycle literate and Venus Avatar informed. I would love to see more women connect with the solutions that Venus can provide.

She is the High Diplomat. She knows the power of words as weapons or as art. When reactive energies are flying, she can remind us to go deeper inside before we speak or act. We can allow our hearts, not history, to lead us.

If you've been following Venus Wisdom, you know that every month the Moon opposes Venus. This is what we call the Peak Venus Portal. In case you are visual, I included a chart below. It is the culmination of what was opened at the New Venus Portal when the Moon and Venus met in the sky.

What's special about it this month is that Venus is approaching her meeting with the Sun during the monthly Sun - Moon opposition of the Full Moon.
​
​
Remember that our last New Venus Portal (Venus conjunct the Moon) was on September 24th, and Venus and the Moon met in the sign of Virgo. We are still in those energetics of the love of refining and the quietude of that first unseen meeting in the Underworld.
​
​
This month is the only time in this entire 19-month cycle that the Peak Venus Portal is on the same day as the Full Moon. Today, October 9th at 7:20 am Pacific is the Peak Venus Portal. The Full Moon follows at 1:55 pm. If you’ve been following the cycle for a while, this may be starting to make sense. I hope so!

I planned to go in retreat mode during this Underworld time. However, after seeing the transformations in the women who just completed the 6-month HEROINE program, I got inspired to share this emerging Venus wisdom with more creative, visionary women of heart around the globe.
