Chiron goes Retrograde

Chiron in Aries, the Wounded Healer, went retrograde this morning. We now retrace the steps in our collective journey of reclaiming our life force, our true identity, our protector energy and the healing of the Masculine Principle on the planet.

If Venus connects us to our Heart’s deepest wisdom, Chiron is the key that opens the door through our suffering. When we meet our suffering with an open Heart, we transmute that suffering into pure presence and bridge the duality of this existence. Currently, in this reality, there is a lot of suffering. We can suffer as empowered beings or we can suffer as victims.

Beauty and pain are intertwined here. No wonder mystics point to the importance of pain in our process of waking up. Rumi wrote, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." That doesn't mean we seek pain, but that we use the pain that naturally occurs to assist us in connecting with our Truth, our Essence.

The catch is, if we are not willing to open to our deepest suffering from perceived separation, we miss the opportunity to connect with our greatest medicine - the gift that only we can bring to the World. It is through grappling with the wound of that separation that we find our Wholeness.

Barbara Hand Clow refers to Chiron as the "rainbow bridge" between the inner and outer planets, a "centaur" that astronomers were challenged to classify.

Chiron's orbit weaves between Saturn, that last visible planet that represents limits and the practicality of 3D existence, and Uranus, the Great Awakener, representing wild cosmic forces that liberate us from the constraints of 3D reality. 

Both Chiron and Uranus move through a sign for about 7-8 years. Currently, we have Chiron in Aries (2018-2027) the sign connected to the Masculine Principle and Uranus in Taurus (2018-2026) the sign connected to the Feminine Principle.

These two evolutionary forces activating the Feminine and Masculine for a longer period of time are supporting us to understand the primal forces of creation within and redefining relationships into unions of co-creation between two sovereign beings. Many people are deciding to refrain from outer relationship until their inner connection to Source is truly primary.

Chiron will retrace from 12˚ Aries to 8˚ Aries until December 19th, 2021.

Discovered on November 1, 1977, the sighting of Chiron corresponded with a rise in spiritual healing techniques including channeling, energy work, body/mind modalities, and opening to the multidimensional nature of reality.

She writes, "The placement of Chiron in the natal chart functions like a hieroglyph. It is a vehicle (that shows) how realities intersect. It is a key into a mundane zone where multidimensionality can be accessed. It is a doorway into feelings about events, knowledge of why something occurs, and revelation of the cosmic influence."

Sound useful for these epic, turbulent times as we end and begin a 26,000-year cycle?

You may agree that Chiron is a potent force during this time of awakening to our multidimensional nature, galactic history, and resources for healing the trauma of living in dominator culture.

If you were born between 4/1/68-3/28/77 (with some exceptions when Chiron retrogrades into Taurus) this influence is particularly important in your quest to live the wisdom of your deepest medicine. Being disheartened is part of the process. Keep feeling the raw power of what you feel, liberate the stories about what it means. Owning it and feeling it all the way through is the secret of Chiron's guidance. Be bold and ask for support from trusted allies. You don't need to do it alone. The Sun and Neptune make a beautiful connection today as Chiron goes retrograde, embracing this change of direction with the Mystery - like the Sun reflecting on the ocean. I am reminded of the song, "Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream."

We are waking up to our interconnectedness and our ability to re-dream the World we wish to live in, the one where separation from Nature, from the Feminine Principle, from our bodies and from Source is a memory and we co-create what some call heaven. Together, we will birth a new reality.
