Eclipse season is over and many were tested, stretched, confronted, and forever changed. We are in the exhale after some of the most intense astrological influences of our time.
The Sky Story now speaks of our dreams of sublime love and the tenderness from love lost or missed. We may be grieving how reality has not met our expectations in our dreams of love and connections of all kinds. We are birthing a new quality of loving and connection on the planet that is key to our next evolutionary leap. Not an easy task. Be gentle.
Can we allow disillusionment to open us our longings, soften our will, remind us of our innocence, and the subtle sense of the Unknowable Mystery?
Can we swim in the sea of yearning free of agenda?
Can we be naked in the space of wanting without fulfillment or do we close down and decide that what stirs our soul deeply is not possible?
Choosing vulnerability as we meet our hurt allows our innocence to flourish, no matter what happens in the external reality with another.
There is quiet potency to this moment, an intensification of feelings of love and longing. We are re-imagining the world. Are you listening to your heart's blossoming? What are you dreaming of being?
Tonight Venus as Evening Star meets the Moon for the fourth time since coming out of the Underworld in October. This is the part of the story where Inanna receives her 4th empowerment on the way to her throne in the topside world: Purity of Heart.
This is a crucial test for her to demonstrate that she has wed power with kindness and will use it for the highest and deepest good for all.
Moon and Venus meet in Pisces, the Cosmic Waters of Life from which we are born and we will one day return. Venus is exalted here. Neptune, the ruler of Pisces and Queen of Divine Love, is close by. She has been swimming through this space of magic and illusion since 2012 asking us to wake up in the dream and know ourselves as dreamer and artists of our Life as well as opening the opportunity to see through the manipulation of the masses.
Neptune considered the "Higher Octave of Venus" is Pure, Non-Dual, Cosmic Love. Venus brings love into the real of 3D through art, music, dance, and affairs of love - the human embodiment of the Divine.
In this current Venus cycle that began late October 2018, we are invited to see our deepest shadow truths and to align with radical equity as we share and heal them. We are better able to recognize the internalized victim/perpetrator dynamics and how to move from our wholeness, holiness, in intimacy.
As we mature, our discernment awakens and our sword of truth liberates us from connections that are not based on mutual respect, love admiration, reverence, and the value of kinship. Centering in the neutrality of our authentic heart in the present time keeps us clear and protects us from hooks that distract us from our purpose.
Venus in Pisces wants to be permeated by love, infused with ecstasy, attuned to vibrations of unity. She is always and forever dancing and creating with Mars, as Beloved. In this current cycle, we are asked to remember this at each step of her journey of Life, Death, and Rebirth.
On Sunday, 1/26, Venus (Feminine Principle) in Pisces (Water) was in a tense aspect to Mars (Masculine Principle) in Sagittarius (Fire). Fire and Water represent passion and compassion and are the qualities that animate the kinds of relationships that change us and the world in the most beautiful ways.
Masculine and Feminine; we need them both and they are not "at odds" but ever learning from each other as committed lovers do. Our desire to open, surrender, merge, and to penetrate creates a delicious tension. Are we home in our bodies and available at the subtler levels to receive it? How will we direct this in our life? This is our sacred vitality and when we own it we are free to express more of ourselves and magnetize our kin.
Venus/Mars is an echo of the dynamic we lived through 2019 with Jupiter in Sag and Neptune in Pisces. This is a highly idealized combination and one is not easy to land in the real. Harnessing our imagination to bring beautiful fantasy into reality is sacred work. We will be disappointed. That doesn't mean our deepest stirrings and visions of how it could be aren't important seeds of Faith to carry with us.
Tonight and tomorrow are an especially powerful time to engage in conversations with the Earth and Cosmos and deepen into sacred wishing, prayers, and seeds of intentions in the art of relating. We may remember ancient songs or improvise new ones that vibrate with Beauty.
We are entering a new field of possibility in re-imagining the nexus of relationship with Life. May we trust the deepest knowing of our muse, honor our sensitivity, and invite our invisible allies to join us on this journey where power is wed with kindness in service to the highest and deepest good for all.
