Summer Eclipse Challenges, Venus in Underworld

Eclipse Season is a time of Accelerated Change. Are you feeling it?
Some paths will end and others will open up. We are invited to let go of control and allow our deeper guidance to be known as we move through this potent time, just having crossed the halfway mark of the year and speeding towards 2020.
Today at 12:16 PDT we will experience a total solar eclipse. Although not visible in the US or Northern Hemisphere, the theme is transformation. Where in your life are you being asked to shift? Today is a time to trust your feelings, although perhaps not the optimum time to make a big decision. Staying present in the time of transition can be richly rewarding for our growth.
If you are sensitive, you may be feeling overwhelmed or otherwise affected by this meetup. Self-care could look like drinking extra water (add a pinch of sea salt for electrolytes), resting, journaling, slowing down, and creating some space to be with yourself during the eclipse time. This eclipse is at the exact same degree as the one in July 2000 so reflecting on what was happening in your life then can provide some insight.

We continue to learn how to live from our heart and allow that container to hold the full spectrum of our experience.
Venus is now in the Immersion phase of her 13-phase cycle that began October 26th, 2018. She is heading towards an exact alignment with Earth, unseen on the OPPOSITE side of the Sun. She is at a halfway point in her cycle as we are at a halfway point in our solar cycle, just passing the June Solstice. The Sun at its peak is being eclipsed as Venus dives deeper into her journey to discover where love and power truly reside within her. We may feel pulled inward to find the center during this time. Our heart is on retreat and we can align our lives to honor that.
An eclipse is an Underworld journey that happens in a short span of time. Venus will be invisible until late September. What are we learning about how to access our feminine wisdom when we are not affirmed by others or external events?
Right as she is falling from the Sky, she is opposite the Galactic Center at 27 degrees Sagittarius. This is the point that our solar system revolves around and an enormous black hole is located. Mystics say this is a communication station where messages from the Galaxy are received. Perhaps Venus is receiving these as she descends. Perhaps these messages will sustain her as she dies to who she was in the Underworld to embody more of her authentic power.
During these turbulent times, we are being asked to bring forth our greatest wisdom and gifts. Now is a time to shed old stories and conditioning to make contact with our essence. The more we steep in that mysterious place of not knowing, the more capable we will be to bring our offering this fall.
