URANUS, NORTH NODE AND MARS MEET UP IN VENUS'S SIGN

Aug 04, 2022

At the end of July, Uranus, the Great Awakener, Mars, the Activator, and the North Node of the Moon, representing our Collective Evolution, convened at the 18˚ zodiac point of the stabilizing, earth sign of Taurus, which Venus rules.

The meetup of this trio is a lightning storm of activations that can have a positive, negative, or neutral impact. There is an “anything can happen” quality in the mix. The intensity continues through the full Moon on the 11th, so considering how to resource oneself from now to then is wise.

Uranus and Mars together could mean harnessing vibrant revolutionary energies and taking action to create big changes in places where we have been stuck.

They can also indicate accidents, injuries, and volatile interactions with others with possible harm to our bodies. If we have been suppressing our anger, it can come sideways - and with fury. Feeling anxious, ungrounded, and overwhelmed are quite possible under these skies.

Because Venus is the guardian of Taurus, we look to her for guidance. In Cancer she advises us to center through remembering our water nature, to stay closer to home, nourish ourselves with truly healthy food, hydrate, and tend to the bonds with those we love. Tears can soften and cleanse our hearts.

What can you do to take the pressure off and be kinder to yourself?

In Cancer, Venus is moving through the opposite sign where she started the cycle in Capricorn, so we may receive reflections on how specific elements of our history, co-dependence and people-pleasing habits inhibit our connection to our purpose and how we steward that into the world.

Where have we been taking unhealthy responsibility for others or not sharing our feelings and needs?

Mars reflects how we act on our inner desire. After an energizing meet up with Uranus, Mars clashes with Saturn on the 7th. Personally,  this may feel like slamming on the brakes in a place where we have been working to create movement. There’s a cold, sobering quality to Saturn here. The obstacle may be mental and the solution may come from thinking outside of the box.

Saturn is the Taskmaster teaching through contraction. Saturn in Aquarius is demonstrating themes of this crossroad into the Age of Aquarius by showing us scenarios of how technology and information can be used to control the masses. External authority may assert itself upon our free will.

The US just declared another health emergency and its likely restrictions are returning soon for many. Of course, many across the globe have continued to live under lockdowns and unimaginable limits on freedom.

Saturn is also the co-pilot of this current Venus cycle as the ruler of Capricorn, the sign where she united with the Sun. When we embody and move from our inner authority, we are powerful beyond what we have known. Saturn is always inviting us to take healthy responsibility for what is ours and use our failures to reach greater maturity.

Saturn is the power of “No”. Feeling and claiming our “No” can assist us greatly in these times, often more tangibly than our “Yes”.

Our “No” alerts us to where we are no longer willing to be constricted. We’ve been conditioned to comply with unnatural ways of living and shrink our wild, creative genius into a small, non-threatening corner of someone else’s map.

In an environment of increasing fear and control, humanity is being asked to find our bottom line. We can then create a space for a new vision and find the kin who are ready to breathe life into it.

The inflammatory energies of Mars and Uranus will keep rippling through the middle of the month because of an unusual alignment in their angular distance in the sky which is known as declination. Mars and Uranus will be in an exact relationship again on August 9th. Mars will be in alignment with the North Node again on August 10th.

This extends the explosive effects of their union. Taking extra care during this window is advised. Perhaps take a few minutes and create a list of daily actions you can take to support yourself. Then, commit to it.

Avoid unnecessary risky ventures, surgeries, and conflicts with authorities, if you can. How can we cultivate our ability to be more aware and careful without falling into fear?

When we slow down enough to feel ourselves (Taurus) we have an easier time accessing our inner guidance. When we choose to release knowing and concepts, we can drop out of our heads and can dive into our hearts.

When we get quiet enough and are deep enough inside our bodies, we can connect with our heart's guidance. It can be subtle. I would describe this as soft confidence in a direction. This is distinctly different than the kind of "body knowing" which is actually a reaction. There is an urgency to it.

The biggest clue for me that I am connected to my heart is the absence of an agenda or attachment to a certain outcome. The more we reference our inner knowing, the more we learn how to trust it, especially in stressful times. So many resources are available to support us as we rise to the challenge of these times.

Venus moves into the sign of Leo on August 11th at the Full Moon in Aquarius (near Saturn and in a tense square to Uranus.) Look for that post soon.

Blessings on our precious bodies and lives as we move through these powerful times.
